Terms & conditions

The rules for using this website and working with us. Written to be read, not to confuse.

Last updated: 25 October 2026

01About us

Igniteweb is a trading name of RCP Associates Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, based in Southampton, Hampshire.

These terms apply to your use of this website and to any services we provide to you, unless we agree something different with you in writing. Please read them before working with us.

02Using this website

You may use this website for your own information. Please do not copy our content or design for commercial use, try to break or misuse the site, or use it for anything unlawful.

We work hard to keep the information on this site accurate and up to date, but it is general information, not advice for your specific situation. Prices shown are starting prices, and your final price will be confirmed in your quote.

03Quotes and agreements

Before any paid work starts, we will send you a quote or plan setting out what we will do, what it costs and roughly how long it will take. A contract is formed when you accept the quote in writing (email is fine) or pay a deposit.

Quotes are valid for 30 days unless they say otherwise. Anything not in the quote is extra and will be agreed with you before we do it.

04Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling. VAT will be added where it applies and shown on your invoice.

For one-off projects we may ask for a deposit before starting, with the balance due on completion. Invoices are payable within 14 days unless we agree otherwise. Monthly services are invoiced monthly in advance.

If a payment is late, we may pause work until it is paid. We may also charge statutory interest and compensation on late business payments under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

Advertising spend (for example on Google or Meta) is separate from our fees and is paid by you, either directly to the platform or as agreed in your quote.

05Monthly services and cancelling

Monthly services run on a rolling monthly basis, with no long contract. You can cancel at any time with 10 days’ notice for cancellations or handovers. Fees already paid for the current month are not refundable.

For one-off projects, if you cancel part-way through, you pay for the work completed up to that point and any costs we have already committed to on your behalf.

If you are a consumer rather than a business, you may also have a 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. If you ask us to start work within that period, you will pay for the work done up to the point you cancel.

06What we need from you

To deliver on time, we need you to provide content, logins, information and feedback when asked, and to check and approve work promptly. Delays on your side may move timescales.

You confirm that anything you give us to use (text, photos, logos, data) belongs to you or that you have permission to use it, and that using it will not break any law or anyone else’s rights.

07Who owns the work

Once you have paid in full, the site, content and accounts we create for you are yours.

We keep ownership of our own tools, code snippets, templates and know-how that existed before your project or that we use across clients; you receive a permanent licence to use them as part of your project.

We may show the work we did for you in our portfolio and social media, unless you ask us not to.

08Other companies’ platforms

Many of our services rely on third-party platforms such as hosting, domain registrars, Google, Meta, website builders, automation and AI tools. These are provided under their own terms. We are not responsible for their outages, price changes, policy changes or decisions such as ad approvals or account suspensions, but we will help you deal with them.

09Results

We will always do our best work for you, but we cannot guarantee specific results such as search rankings, number of enquiries, sales or advertising performance, because these depend on many things outside our control.

10AI and automations

AI tools can make mistakes. Automations we set up are tested before going live, and we recommend that a person checks anything important or sensitive (such as quotes, refunds or legal or financial messages) before it is sent. You remain responsible for decisions made using the outputs of these tools.

11Confidentiality and data

We keep your business information confidential and only use it to deliver our services. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. Where we process personal data on your behalf, we act as your processor, and we are happy to sign a data processing agreement.

12Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be limited.

We are not liable for loss of profits, revenue, business, data or goodwill, or for any indirect or consequential loss.

Our total liability to you in connection with our services is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

If you are a consumer, these limits do not affect your statutory rights.

13Complaints

If something is not right, please tell us as soon as possible by calling 07438759125 or using our contact form. We will listen and do our best to put it right quickly.

14Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page applies to new work from the date shown at the top. Work already agreed continues under the terms in place when it was agreed, unless we both agree otherwise.

15Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute.
